Day 1

Day 1 of Destination SPACE camp went well! Students got to settle into their dorm rooms for the week as well as getting to mingle and get to know each other at a BBQ picnic as well as play volleyball and other outdoor games.

Day 2

Day 2 of Destination SPACE camp was full of activities. Students received lectures on weather, climate, space weather, and an introduction to small satellites as well as started building their robotic rover.

Day 3

Day 2 of Destination SPACE camp students finished building their robotic rovers and soldered their weather stations. Students also collected data outside to analyze later this week and started working on their presentations.

Day 4

Day 5

Today students launched their weather stations on a tethered balloon to collect data and finished their presentations.

Day 6

Today students presented their presentations to their parents and members of the community.
