SLS Launch Attempt Scrubbed

On Monday NASA Attempted to launch the first SLS rocket to space. It was a beautiful sunrise with good weather conditions. More than 200,000 traveled to the space coast to view this historic launch. Unfortunately NASA ran into a couple unexpected issues during launch preparations. They encountered an issue during the loading of cryogenic liquid hydrogen leaking out of the umbilicals, though this issue was later resolved. They also thought there may have been a leak in the upper hydrogen tank, but this was later identified as a crack in the insulation which is a non-issue. Thirdly a ground sensor was reading that the temperature of engine 3 was not acceptable, eventually leading to a scrub as it was uncertain it could be resolved as inclement weather began to develop over the launch site. After extensive data review NASA determined it was a faulty ground sensor and the sensor onboard the rocket was reading acceptable values. On Tuesday evening NASA announced the conclusion of their tests and a new target launch time for Saturday September 3rd at 2:17pm. Hopefully we will see this amazing rocket with payloads take to the sky this weekend.
