Satellite Week FSU 2022

This summer we had the opportunity to run a one week weather and climate focused summer camp for foster students across West Virginia. The students were split into two groups with one focusing on weather and climate, and the other focusing on robotics and rocketry. In this camp students learned about weather, climate, space weather, remote sensing, and built and flew their own weather stations on two tethered weather balloons. Working with KVC West Virginia, First Star, and NASA ERC we were able to provide a fun and unique learning experience for these students.
